Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 director Guillaume Broche called on Microsoft to release a remaster of Lost Odyssey for modern platforms.In an interview with Eurogamer, he cited Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's JRPG as one of his team's main inspirations - and the latest game that made him cry while playing through it.

“For me, this was the last truly large-scale turn-based Japanese RPG with realistic graphics. It raised deep themes, and the authors were able to reveal them well. And Lost Odyssey is the last game that made me cry while playing,” said the creator of one of the main games of recent times. #game
