It looks like Sony is actually considering bringing back some old PlayStation franchises.Amid recent rumors about a remake of inFAMOUS for the PlayStation 5, the well-known insider and blogger Nate The Hate commented on the situation.

“It is true that Sony is exploring and considering bringing back some of its older inactive IPs.”

He separately emphasized that for now we are talking about internal discussions and consideration of potential ideas.It is still unknown which episodes will return exactly.

Talk of the potential return of inFAMOUS and other classic Sony franchises has sparked some heated debate.Most often, PlayStation fans mention that they would like to see new Sly Cooper, Ape Escape, MotorStorm, Jak & Daxter, Killzone, Resistance and Gravity Rush.

Some fans are especially unhappy that Sony's gaming team focused too much on service projects during the PlayStation 5 generation.
