Marathon will have 7 game classes at launch:

Destroyer - Tank/Frontliner • Assassin - Stealth Class • Recon - Intel • Vandal - Mobility • Thief - Looting • Triage - Support/Battle Medic • Rook - Free Loadout Class

Each class can be customized with different cores, implants, and weapon modifications.They can be found by collecting loot and successfully evacuating, or from in-game merchants.

Cores are designed for a specific Runner, but implants are universal and can be used by anyone.

Both cores and implants have varying rarities, with the highest levels offering significant benefits.

For example, you can create a melee-focused Destroyer, or focus entirely on protecting the team with a shield. #game
