My Famicase Exhibition 2026 - an exhibition of fictional games for Famicom

Every year, Japan hosts My Famicase Exhibition, an exhibition where artists and designers from all over the world come up with non-existent games for the Famicom and design full-fledged stickers for them on cartridges. The result is an amazing mixture of retro design, absurd ideas and very personal stories.

For example: Sad Steve gets his SOUL back A game about a tired office clerk who has lost joy in life. His own Soul puts him on a point-and-click adventure to make Steve feel alive again.

Or here: TIME FOR CRAB The crab artist Picasso notices that people are gradually turning into crabs... and decides to speed up the process.Yes, this is literally a game about a crab apocalypse.

There is also a brewing simulator from rabbits, an action game about a battle with an army of instant noodles, and the adventure of a tramp traveling along the US railroads.

We selected the most interesting works from My Famicase Exhibition 2026 and published them in a separate article on RetroDrom Games - with translations of descriptions and photographs of cartridges.
