This is the opinion of the top manager of Lexar, one of the largest manufacturers of SSDs and flash memory.

In his words: 🔴The market is still based on the sale of old warehouse stocks, and manufacturers are increasingly focused on producing profitable memory for AI servers, rather than on the mass segment. 🔴The current “discounts” on DDR5 are probably the last sales of stocks, and then the price will start to rise again. 🔴According to his forecast, by the end of 2026 the growth could be up to 130%, which will cause a second wave of rising prices for laptops and smartphones.
