The Harvard Business Review (HBR) magazine writes a sheet about the fact that IT TURNS out that the implementation of AI in enterprises does not lead to increased productivity, does not reduce workload, and does not allow employees to focus on more complex tasks.
In fact, exactly the opposite.
Implementing AI may provide short-term success, but in an eight-month study of how neural networks changed work habits in US companies with more than 200 employees, success with AI was found to be unsustainable.
The magazine is careful to write about what is “possible”; managers should pay attention to this.
This article is doubly ironic, because a year ago HBR literally wrote the exact opposite (like “if you don’t implement AI in your company right now, you will find yourself on the sidelines of progress”).
The authors also express the opinion that it is necessary to implement AI more carefully and first come up with norms and standards for the use of neural networks that could help employees.
