A Reddit user complained to Steam support that his Steam Controller order was mistakenly sent to the UK instead of Hungary due to an issue with shipping company GLS.In response, support explained the situation, clarified that the shipment was already being redirected, and offered to choose any game in the standard edition as compensation for the wait.
Judging by the comments, the problem affected several more users from different countries - their orders also went through the British warehouse.At the same time, the thread noted that this is not the first such case: Valve issued similar compensation for delays in repairing the Steam Deck.
