Well, play Replaced already, it’s literally 20 minutes and that’s a waste of everything!
Lately I’ve been surrounded by calls to check out the Belarusian cyberpunk unfinished construction project Replaced.Several people even sent a personal message.They say that everything in the demo is soulful.But I didn’t want to, because I didn’t really doubt it since the announcement, which was five years ago.But I gave up and played.
Well, yes, judging by the demo, everything is very good.Not expensive, but neat, really with soul.Moreover, without unnecessary ambitions, within a clear genre framework - how I love it!Stylish post-apocalyptic cyberpunk with a retrowave twist.With light parkour, nice animation and heavy fights in the style of Batman: Arkham.
Replaced is often compared to Limbo and his followers - and probably rightly so.But in spirit it reminded me more of the long-standing action platformer about zombies Deadlight (which itself was compared to Limbo) and that same Flashback - both in vibes, gameplay, and music.The gun even seems to make a noise.
The tricky mixture of realistic light and three-dimensionality with pixelated 2D and 3D works great - the game is stylish and recognizable.The detail of the locations and staging - and therefore the immersion - is also on the level.I just didn't really like the lyrics.
We’re definitely waiting, don’t worry about another, this time a small transfer, add it to the wishlists and rush in on April 14th. #game
