According to Alinea Analytics, the top-grossing games of September on Steam were:

• Wardogs $86.9 million a month. The PvP shooter was released early on September 10 and has already brought in over $100 million with 3.2 million copies sold. Wardogs accounts for about a third of all September revenue of new IPs in Steam 2026.

• Onimusha: Way of the Sword $30.4 million for September and $33.7 million in total. Nearly 576,000 copies have been sold. More than a third of Steam players are from China.

• The Blood of Dawnwalker $26.9 million for September and $30.6 million in total on Steam. More than 535,000 copies have been sold on the platform, but Steam's revenue is inferior to PS5, where the game has already brought in over $40 million.
