Anonymous has joined the protests against PlayStation's proposed removal of discs from January 2028 and has given players five recommendations to protect their rights:

— continue to buy physical versions of games and consoles with disc drives; - support DRM-free platforms, such as GOG; — download and save backup copies of purchased content; — carefully read the terms of purchase and remember that digital games are often sold only as licenses.On Steam too; — defend the ownership of paid games.
