BREAKING: Obsidian has technically canceled Avowed 2 and is now working on a new Fallout game, reports Jason Schreier Josh Sawyer (director and lead designer of New Vegas) will be in charge of the new Fallout game.He previously worked on Pentiment and Pillars of Eternity, as well as another game similar to Fallout, which was also cancelled.The sequel to Avowed has been going fairly smoothly in development and was supposed to be announced next year, but it just doesn't fit into Asha's current strategy.At the same time, some employees will continue to work on it in the hope that the project will be revived in the future after new projects like Fallout are ready.Work on additions to The Outer Worlds 2 and Grounded 2 will continue. #game #Strategy
