Fan ported P.T. horror from PS4 to PC

Lorean enthusiast The Gamer has shown 30 minutes of gameplay from the unofficial PC version of P.T. Horror. It's a playable teaser of the cancelled video game Hidéo Kojima Silent Hills for the PlayStation 4.

Unlike the fan-made remakes, this project uses the game's original resources and will run on a PC without a PS4 emulator. The developer keeps the game's event controls in scripts, set scenes, and the Lisa ghost animation system.

For the reproduction of the Fox Engine graphics, the author uses the original PS4 shaders. The new display system features shadows, lighting, reflection, blurring in motion, grain density, and other effects, including volumetric fog in the final. The sound system supports original audio data, volume sound, reverberation, and radio transmission.

The PC version also announced support for 60 FPS, mouse and keyboard control, DualSense and other gamepads.

P.T. was a free-to-play teaser demo of Silent Hills, released on the PlayStation 4 in August 2014.

However, in April 2015, Konami cancelled Silent Hills, while P.T. was removed from the PlayStation Store.

Kojima himself drew attention to the fan port for the PC and re-posted an article about it on social media.

I'm a genius who has noticed my port!
