Gears of War: E-Day could be the first Xbox game to match the PlayStation platinum trophy.

In the published list of achievements there is an acivka The Lucky Ones Died on E-Day, which is awarded for receiving all other achievements and at the same time brings 0 Gamerscore.

Xbox has previously confirmed that its own analogue of platinum will be available by the end of 2026, so E-Day could be the first game to use this system. However, this has not yet been confirmed: other projects will be released before the release of Gears, whose lists of achievements have not yet been published.

Additionally, the achievements for getting all the other chips were met on the Xbox and earlier, so it's not yet known if the old games will automatically get the new platinum status after the system launches.

It is also suggested that the achievement may have been a departure from Microsoft's previous plans to release E-Day for the PS5. This release was not officially confirmed, although after the release of Gears of War: Reloaded for the PlayStation 5 it was considered quite possible.
