In Exodus there will be a race of giant intelligent frogs and they will play an important role in the game universe

Kai is one of the races of the Awakened Animals. People have made them giant and intelligent during experiments.

As amphibians, the Kai live in water, so the Honshu Station is permeated with a system of pipes that the frogs move through, and they communicate using special translators that translate barely heard sounds and even thoughts into English, so the Kai don't even have to open their mouths when they're talking.
