Interesting places from the games that you didn't notice

There are fans of the first Death Stranding, and I was just looking at the list of games available on PSN+ and I saw the first part of Sam Bridges' adventure.

It's going to be hard to do because it's going to take me a long time to go through it again, because my favorite part of the game is meditation walks through picturesque locations.

Does anyone know this place east of the Mountain Gorge? It seems to me to be the most atmospheric: snow, fog, columns that look like crosses on graves.

When I first came across this trail, I thought Kojima was using it as a plot device, because there's too much cinematography in this area.

The trail is still just a place where I'm stuck in the fog, thinking about the unfortunate fate of the world around me, and yes, my thoughts aren't about the game... note if you've seen this descent, and maybe you've got similar thoughts.
