Love for Rust turned into a tragedy for an Arizona gamer who was paralyzed after a failed sweating match.

It all started when the administrator of one of the servers offered to check Axel Melendez's computer for chips, instead of checking, he installed malware, accessed the player's accounts, and started extorting money, threatening to call the SWAT at his home address.

Two days later, the fraudster reported to the police that Axel's father had allegedly shot his sister. Despite a warning from one of the officers about a possible false challenge, the special forces still stormed the house.

Now Axel and his family are demanding $176 million in compensation from the county and sheriff's office, claiming that the tragedy could have been avoided if the police had heeded the warning about possible swatting. #game #Match
