Microsoft has introduced a major update to the Xbox app for PC, as well as the Xbox Cloud Gaming interface in browsers, TVs, and VR headsets.
The main emphasis was on speed and convenience:
The app runs up to 60% faster. The Home, Store, and Game Pass sections load up to 50% faster. The internal windows open up to 65% faster. The navigation has been updated to make the gamepad easier to control. The game library, filters, and sorting have been improved. Friends are now displayed on the home screen where you can quickly start chatting or join a group.
It's also updated with animations, game cards, and settings, making the interface more like an Xbox console dashboard.
Xbox Insider users can test out the new app today, and the cloud service update will be rolled out in the coming weeks. #game #PC
