Rockstar wanted to turn Miami into a real Weiss City, but the local sheriff turned out against it.

What was planned: • Part of Miami's airport would be renamed Vice City Airport; • The plane and shuttle to the airport would be repainted in GTA VI style; • Luggage areas at the airport would be branded in GTA VI style; • Some sewer holes would also be branded in GTA VI style.

But while Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stuz has spoken out against it, she says the GTA series is associated with violence, crime, and other illegal things, and Miami is building a reputation as a global center for tourism, business, and investment.

But Rockstar's also young: there's no word in the ad about turning any Miami hotel into an Oceanview hotel...
