Sony has again unnoticedly updated the PS5 Slim and this time the changes have turned out to be much more interesting than the usual revisions.

When the new Wolverine Limited Edition was unveiled, an updated motherboard EDM-051 was found inside.

Compared to previous versions of Slim, Sony has changed several elements at once: • a different motherboard composition; • a replaceable CR2032 battery; • a simplified internal design; • a reworked cooling system with a liquid metal interface in the PS5 Pro style; • a noticeably altered design and radiator materials; • a newer, cheaper and optimized implementation of the HDMI-receiver.

According to the changes, Sony continues to gradually simplify the production of PS5 Slim, reduce its cost and simultaneously transfer some engineering solutions from the PS5 Pro to the console. #game
