The cult Dark Messiah of Might & Magic will receive a full-fledged fan remaster, with official permission from Ubisoft and with the support of Valve.

The developers are moving the game to an updated version of the Source engine, adding support for modern 64-bit Windows and Linux systems, improving graphics, lighting and shadows.

But the most interesting thing is new content, which will bring back previously cut material, maps, and modes from the console version, as well as new spells, weapons, abilities, and a full-fledged cooperative campaign.

Additionally, players will have a new game ++ mode, additional testing, procedurally generated submersibles, and a reworked multiplayer game based on Steamworks.
