The DICE conference in honor of Vince Zampella was attended by Phil Spencer, Jeff Keeley, Laura Miele, Todd Howard, Randy Pitchford, Ted Price and many other famous developers
Laura Miele, the current president of EA, said that Zampella "changed the way games are made" and, more importantly, "the way people are treated in the process of making them."
Xbox CEO Phil Spencer also took the stage and noted: “He has always had a knack for working with a team, raising the bar even higher and inspiring great things.”
Bethesda game designer Todd Howard, describing their friendship, called Zampella "a real pro": "I always asked his advice on every game I made, or on how to maneuver through the flow of events that were happening in the industry."
