The first certified HDMI 2.2 cables with a bandwidth of up to 96 Gbit/s are starting to appear on the market.

The standard is designed for higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 4K at 240 Hz. Prices for the first cables start at about $33 depending on the length.

But one new cable isn't enough: a video card, TV or monitor should also support HDMI 2.2. If the whole system only works with HDMI 2.1, there's no point in updating it yet. #game
