The Galaxy Z Fold 8 has set a record for pre-orders in Samsung history .
In South Korea, in a week from July 28 to August 3, Korea placed 1.44 million pre-orders for the device from the folding lineup, breaking the record that the Galaxy Note 10 held since 2019.
At the same time, 70% of pre-orders were for the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 with a 4:3 aspect ratio. 60% of the line's buyers decided to switch to folding devices for the first time.
