The PGL rules for 2027 include a $30,000 fine for teams that refuse to participate in tournaments. If the team withdraws from the main tournament after its participation has been confirmed, it is obliged to reimburse PGL for the costs of the already booked airline tickets and accommodation, as well as to cover the costs of the team that takes its place. The exception is documentally confirmed cases: medical emergencies or a refusal of visa for reasons independent of the team.
