There's been over two minutes of cancelled Perfect Dark gameplay from The Initiative online.
The video was posted by VFX artist Tracy Landau, who previously worked on Marvel's Avengers, Call of Duty and Tomb Raider.
Earlier, it was reported that since April 2025, the team had been working on the first vertical slice full-fledged game fragment, which was to demonstrate the quality and overall direction of the project.
There were also rumors that Perfect Dark was scheduled to be released in an episodic format.
After the cancellation of the project, Take-Two reportedly discussed with Microsoft and Embracer the possibility of financing further development, but the parties never reached an agreement.
The Initiative was shut down by Microsoft in July 2025 as part of Xbox's restructuring. #game #Marvel
