Tim Willis, creative director of Saber, has some regrets about the lack of AI in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 and other games. He said this amid a scandal with the fired Rideshare game writer "Stimulator", which was sort of replaced by AI. "In Space Marine 3, Hellraiser, Stuntman, Turok, Jurassic Park, and Jack Wike, there's no AI. But we're going to experiment with technology, like in Rideshare, to see if it works and if people like it. If not, fine. If someone tells you that they're already broken into AI, they're lying. I've even just imagined the greatest heresy -- a game of mechanics, a fully AI-assembled game.
