👓 Valve is preparing to launch sales of the Steam Frame VR headset

Over the past few days, more and more changes related to the helmet have been found in the Steam client code.For example, a game compatibility category has appeared along with Steam Deck, Steam Machine and SteamOS.We also added interactive instructions for setting up the device when you turn it on for the first time.

Insider Brad Lynch suggests that these changes are primarily intended for the press, who, as is usually the case, are preparing reviews for the official announcement.

Steam Frame is a standalone VR headset based on SteamOS.It supports native launch of VR games and applications (including compatibility layers for x86-64, Proton and Android), as well as broadcasting from a PC over Wi-Fi.The developers called the Steam Frame one of the lightest and most comfortable VR headsets they have ever worn.The cost of the device has not yet been announced. #game #Steam #PC
