Ubisoft is closing its NFT flagship Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles

The French company Ubisoft has announced the closure of its ambitious but unsuccessful flagship NFT game Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles.

Champions Tactics was announced back in 2023, and released in October 2024, when the hype around Web 3.0 faded.

Players were asked to collect, customize, and paste figures for the table to fight opponents.

According to the announcement, the Champions Tactics servers will be disabled on October 30. Ubisoft is trying to lure the audience into its other crypto project Might and Magic Fates.
