A24 is rumored to spend nearly $200 million on Elden Ring, making it the most expensive film in the studio's history, with a huge gap.

For comparison, the previous record-holder was a painting by Marty Magnificent with a budget of about $70 million.

The Elden Ring is scheduled to premiere in 2028. For A24, known primarily for independent and non-standard cinema, this is a completely different scale of production.

The studio itself has become a major player in the industry over the past few years, and in 2024 it was valued at about $3.5 billion. #game
