NVIDIA has been accused of artificially creating a video game card shortage for record AI earnings.

According to analyst Ed Zithron, the company is deliberately prioritizing the production of AI chips and forcing tech giants to buy equipment by the way.

• NVIDIA is allegedly using the fear of missing out on the AI boom to force Amazon, Microsoft and other corporations to buy up-front accelerators for which they don't have enough capacity and infrastructure yet.

• TSMC's production capacity is redistributed to corporate orders, which limits the production of video game cards and keeps prices high.

• NVIDIA earns a record revenue from data centers, shifting the cost of storage and depreciation to customers.

• Analysts warn of a hardware bubble, and when the tech giants' budgets run out, the market could face a sharp chip overrun and a fall in demand. #game
