Assassin's Creed veteran Eric Baptzat, who has worked on the series since the original Black Flag, is back in Ubisoft.
The French game designer left after the release of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla as game director.
After that, he got to work in the same position on the remake of Dead Space and... he went back to Ubisoft, but back to Vantage Studios.
The most interesting thing is that the gameplay in the series can now take in more depth, adding new mechanics and systems that were missing from the last games.
For example, despite the scandal surrounding the RPG mechanic in Origins, Baptist and his team managed to make a more interactive world with NPC routines, patrol routes, and other systems so that the open world didn't look so boring.
