Former Valve screenwriter Chet Falisch, who worked on Half-Life and Left 4 Dead, has criticized the new Epic Games Store launch and accused Tim Sweeney of another attempt to hurt Gabe Newell.

Falishek didn't like that Epic was actively promoting the development of the launcher using AI and web coding. In his opinion, users don't care how the software was created. They need high speed, convenient interface and useful features.

He drew particular attention to the Epic phrase: "Imagine a speedboat, not a yacht".

Little Tim is so obsessed with Gabe, he can't help falling for him.

According to Falisheck, Sweeney has mentioned Newell's yachts on social media several times, so he doesn't believe in the chance of such a comparison. #game
