Microsoft has developed a completely new Xbox app for PCs that should provide a significant performance boost.

I'm told the app code was rewritten from scratch.

Major changes:

• A new Xbox Cloud Gaming interface codenamed Bastion. • The interface is closer to the Xbox Series X-S. • Navigation between games is significantly simplified. • Game pages and their in-store cards are combined into a single interface. • Two display modes: desktop and full-screen. • The ability to set individual launch parameters for each game. • Improved background images.

The new app is expected to be available to Xbox Insider members by the end of 2026. #game
