Microsoft's stock rose a record 18 percent in the week following the release of its 2026 financial year, and in just one day, the company's capitalization increased by $450 billion, a new world record.

The main indicators are:

revenue increased by 18% to $90 billion; operating profit was $40.6 billion, also up by 18%; Azure revenue increased by 45%, exceeding analysts' expectations; the number of paid Microsoft 365 Copilot users reached 30 million; the volume of contracted revenue from AI increased by 84% to $678 billion; operating cash flow increased by 30% to $55 billion.

Microsoft has invested about $116 billion in AI infrastructure over the past year, while consumer spending has declined, with Windows and Xbox's combined revenues falling 4%, and Xbox's revenues falling 11%.

However, it's hardly a concern for investors: Microsoft's main engine now remains Azure and artificial intelligence. #game
