Comparing Little Nightmares III: The Backstage and REANIMAL: The Prisoner

The comparison between Little Nightmares III and REANIMAL was inevitable. Both series were created by Tarsier talents, but after the studio moved to THQ Nordic, the publisher Bandai Namco transferred the Little Nightmares franchise to Supermassive Games.

Many critics and fans of Little Nightmares have taken the triquel to heart, criticizing the game's overpriced gameplay and the problems with the storytelling that has always been the business card of the series.

In contrast to Reanimal, the players were very warmly received. Tarsier's studio was just moving forward, offering a harder and darker piece, while also reworking some of the mechanics while preserving the general direction given in Little Nightmares.

It's all the more interesting to compare how both studios work on their flaws as part of their story add-ons. Both games should have multiple story DLCs combined with single story lines, and the first chapters are coming out this summer.

So we're going to compare the approaches of both teams in a separate material, especially since each of the additions takes less than an hour.
