Netflix tried to get the exclusive rights to screen the Xbox franchise, but Microsoft asked for much more money.

According to Puck journalist Matthew Belloni, Netflix has offered $500 million for a seven-year contract that would allow the company to exclusively produce Xbox-owned films and series.

Microsoft demanded $800 million in response, and Netflix eventually withdrew the offer.

Now Xbox is reportedly planning to make deals with multiple partners at once, rather than transferring all the rights to one company. #game
