Often the hardest part of repairing is finding the right tools and not breaking them all while you wait for them to be delivered because the console needs to understand what you need to order, pay and wait, get what you didn't want, then reorder, understand what you need something else... and wait until you lose your patience and the screwballs out of the case.
Remember the Watara Supervision I showed you in one of the unpacks? I think it was in the summer. I really wanted to fix the screen, but I knew I could not do anything. I ended up completely restoring all the lines. The tool for this kind of work, the T-shaped strap for a rubber strap, I looked it up at someone on YouTube a long time ago. I even thought I had ordered this, but I couldn't find it in my boxes. I had to re-order it and wait a few weeks. Then it turned out that I didn't have a strap where I could fix this. I had to quickly buy an early strap for a 40W strap.
The result was right in front of you in the photo. It's a great tool, you can work on it until it works. Many of the lines were very capricious, and it was not clear which side of the shaft the contact was off from. But it worked! Now I can go back to my Atari Lynx, which you and I used to torment on the stream and fix this line on its screen.
After the photo shoot, the console will go for a raffle or a sale, so don't be afraid to try something new.
