Steam's annual revenue could surpass $20 billion for the first time
According to Alinea Analytics analysts, September was a record month for Valve. With the remaining major releases and winter sales, 2026 could be a record year.
Between January and September, Steam brought in about $16.5 billion, up 13% from the same period of 2025 ($14.5 billion). The third quarter was also a record $5.5 billion, up 12% from last year.
The biggest hit of the month was the WARDOGS shooter, which brought in about $86.9 million. Among other notable innovations Onimusha: Way of the Sword ($30.4 million), The Blood of Dawnwalker ($26.9 million), Bodycam ($24.2 million) and EA SPORTS FC 27 ($20.7 million).
