The developers of Starsand Island announced a strange situation around the release: the game began to be “overwhelmed” en masse with suspiciously positive reviews.

Many of them were left after a minimum time in the game, were published almost simultaneously and appeared to be AI-generated.Some accounts even returned the game after the review.

The Seed Sparkle Lab studio suggests that this may be intentional “praise-bombing” and asks that such actions stop.

According to them, they just want to quietly develop and improve the game for real players.
