Viewers noticed that in the trailer Leon mainly uses melee techniques: jumping kicks, dodging, sharp attacks.However, not a single zombie on screen was ever killed or seriously injured.Even the chainsaw scene, which in the context of Resident Evil usually guarantees brutal spectacle, ends up being a miss.Later, Leon attacks the zombies from behind, already with an ax, but the video ends right before the moment of impact, as if deliberately avoiding any demonstration of violence.

This is especially strange given the recent Resident Evil Showcase, where Capcom went all out with the blood, gore, and grim atmosphere of Requiem in all its brutality. #game
