There was an interesting interview with the CEO of FiReSPORTS. This is the organization that will host Major in Argentina in 2027! And there is something to tell you, so let's get a little bit more!

According to company CEO Rodrigo Figueroa, the negotiations with Valve began in 2022.

Interestingly, FiRe prepared a 125-page document to present its candidacy, but Valve asked to reduce it to 25, and one of the main arguments was the non-standard organization of the Buenos Aires metro tournament.

It is also known that 60% of the tickets for the final part of the tournament have already been sold, and the organizers expect to receive about 15 thousand spectators.

️ But there's another interesting point: FiRe's CEO hopes that after Major in Singapore, Valve will revise the sticker payment system and return the conditions to the tournament in Argentina.

And the guys are serious about their ambitions: after Major, they want to host one major Tier 1 tournament a year with a prize fund of $1 million, and four regional tournaments worth $250,000.
