They're saying that Killzone can bring back what I'd like!

Word of the day: Guerrilla is about to re-release Killzone, remake or remaster or whatever, and it's by the hands of the great Polish company, the legendary People Can Fly. That's what they say in MP1st, no confirmation.

After Shadow Fall on PS4, Guerrilla itself was only doing Horizon for thirteen years, and co-founder of the studio Hermen Hulst became a meme and went upstairs to control all the PlayStation studios. Now the office is developing the service Horizon: Hunters Gathering, which has been crushed on the playstations and is now being quickly reworked into something just co-op.

Killzone was once thought of as the answer to Halo: Xbox has a big shooter on the platform, PlayStation doesn't have one. Then Resistance came along. And those two other series are cool. Though the Killzone trilogy is pretty typical console placement jokes.

The famous story, of course, happened with Killzone 2 it's also here as if it's a place to remember. At E3 2005 they showed a video that at the time looked like a crazy nexgen, and years later it turned out that it was a nasty pre-render. Many people guessed that, of course. But on the release of the second part before that video almost reached and still looks cool. That grey-yellow-green pipes filter that specifically suits Killzone.

The first part is a little bit weaker, of course, but there's a whole lot of stuff out there. The second part is really cool. The third part is a little bit more diverse, and I like it, too. I went through it on the PlayStation Move, and it all looked super cute. Shadow Fall I don't remember very well.

So Killzone is a cool series. And there's very few big triple-shooters today: once the genre was a leader, and now it's almost dying, a donkey in the indie. So I'd be happy to have a comeback like this. And if it's organized by People Can Fly, especially Bulletstorm, it's a great shooter.

I even have a helmet falling at my house, and that's how much I love Killzone. #game #shooter
