Xbox and Kojima Productions have fixed a critical bug in Death Stranding Director's Cut

Xbox and Kojima Productions have released a patch for Death Stranding Director's Cut, fixing a major issue with save files on PC.The bug has been present since the release of the Director's Cut version in the Xbox ecosystem and affected Play Anywhere players.

The problem was that in game sessions longer than 30-60 minutes, progress would no longer be saved and files would roll back, causing players to lose hours of progress.

The fix is now available and is associated with updating the Xbox app on PC.The bug is considered fixed if the Gaming Services version is 32.106.13001.0 or higher.

The Xbox Series X|S version of the game did not have this bug, but the patch is important for anyone switching between PC and console.Death Stranding Director's Cut now works correctly on Play Anywhere, including launching on devices like the ROG Xbox Ally. #game #PC
