A memory deficit may last longer than expected.

Micron has already sold 75 percent of its memory production volume by 2027, and HBM prices next year are expected to be noticeably higher than in 2026.

Samsung predicts that by 2027 HBM will occupy nearly 30% of all DRAM production capacity in the industry versus about 20% now.

New factories are being built, but Micron notes that increasing production takes a long time, so it's unclear when supply will catch up with demand. #game
