He says he doesn't understand why when adapting an already successful franchise, they don't attract original actors and screenwriters.
Judge cited The Last of Us as an example. He praised Pedro Pascal, but noted that he would like to see the series and the actors from the game itself.
He also mentioned the upcoming God of War series from Amazon and wondered why the game's writers weren't drawn to it:
