Unlike simple upskilling or frame generation, DLSS 5 fully processes visual style, detail, and scene lighting through AI in real time. Game developers will be able to customize three different AI models by choosing exactly which frame elements will be generated by the neural network.

At launch, DLSS 5 will support at least 15 major projects, including Starfield, Assassin's Creed Shadows, Resident Evil Requiem, Hogwarts Legacy, and TES IV: Oblivion Remastered.
