In a 1999 translated interview, former Capcom producer Yosiki Okamoto told how he convinced Nintendo to allow his team to make Zelda for the Game Boy Color.

At first Nintendo didn't care about the idea, and then Okamoto jokingly threatened Sigara Miyamoto: "If Nintendo doesn't want to, we'll release the same game with other characters and just name it differently".

The project was eventually approved, and it was later renamed The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. #game
