Microsoft has updated the system requirements for Minecraft: Java Edition for the first time in 17 years.
The recommended characteristics now look like this:
— 16 GB of RAM instead of the previous 4 GB; — processor level Intel Core i5-12400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600; - a video card of the NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT level with approximately 6 GB of video memory.
The minimum requirements have also increased - at least 8 GB of RAM is now recommended for the game.
