Modders were able to launch the new, faster DLSS 5 model on RTX 40 series video cards just hours after its release.
The nvngx_dlssnr.dll file was discovered in NBA 2K27, after which enthusiasts found a way to use it in other games.
The first test results:
RTX 4060 in Forza Horizon 6 FPS increase by almost 40%.
Resident Evil Requiem Productivity increased by about 30%.
The tests were conducted at 100% Neural Rendering intensity and model resolution.
No significant deterioration in the image quality was detected by the tester.
NVIDIA directs the DLSS 5 to newer video cards, but early experiments show that the RTX 40 series is also capable of working with the new model through unofficial modifications. #game
