RUMOR: Ubisoft has canceled a multiplayer game in the Assassin's Creed universe, reports the French publication Origami

Project League was developed by Ubisoft Annecy (multiplayer AC Brotherhood/Unity/Black Flag and Splinter Cell), and its events took place in the Assassin's Creed Shadows setting with 4-person co-op.

The cancellation occurred due to changes at Ubisoft, and not because of the quality of the game, since the management did not conduct any checks.League's problem was the budget, which no one ever solved.

The work of Project League will not be thrown into the trash.A small team of former developers was tasked with analyzing all the results achieved and figuring out how to make a multiplayer AC game, but cheaper. #game
